Overview
We offer a wide range of health promotion and prevention programming that includes a focus on exercise, nutrition, social inclusion, mental health, and arts-based initiatives. We also deliver a range of programming to address clients’ social determinants of health needs, including housing, food security, and employment.

Drum Fit Exercise Program
A program that uses movement through drumming to benefit the mind and body. Dedicated classes for seniors and for barrier-free (individuals with disabilities)
Mindfulness Drop In Program
Join us to add some mindful moments to your month!
Back to Movement (On Hold)
A yoga program to support and maintain back health for older adults living with lower back pain. Sessions co-facilitated by a physiotherapist and health promoter.

Women’s Disability Action & Awareness Group in Toronto (WDAAGiT)
This is a peer support group for women with physical disabilities guided by the Independent Living Philosophy.

Movie Matinee Showtime!
An event for women with physical disabilities and their female allies to come together to watch a movie, followed by a discussion.

People on Wheels (POW)
This is a peer led support group for people with Multiple Sclerosis who require the use of an assistive device. Interested participants must undergo an assessment.

Peer Support Program
This program offers time-limited individual peer support to people with disabilities. Individuals identify specific issues/goals towards improving emotional health and reducing social isolation.

Provides one-to-one support and navigation to people with disabilities around issues such as community resources and referrals, education, employment, funding, and self advocacy.

Seniors Achieving Greater Esteem (SAGE)
Promotes the health and well-being of frail and/or isolated seniors by encouraging social engagement and independence. Interested participants must undergo an assessment.

Sexual and Reproductive Health
This innovative program provides sexual health information, resources, and referrals to service providers, students, youth and adults with mobility disabilities.

Knitters of all skill levels are welcome to come out and join! All knitted items are donated to local shelters in the community.
