Government Announcement: Ontario pharmacists can now prescribe treatments for 13 common ailments
As of January 1, 2023, Ontarians will be able to stop in at pharmacies across the province to receive prescriptions for thirteen common ailments, including rashes, pink eye, insect bites and urinary tract infections with just their health card. This service makes it more convenient to access care by removing a doctor’s office visit and will come at no extra cost to Ontarians

Government Announcement: New North Toronto Ontario Health Team to Provide Better Connected Care for Patients
Today, Robin Martin, Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Health, announced the North Toronto Ontario Health Team as one of the first 24 teams in the province to implement a new model of organizing and delivering health care that better connects patients and providers in their communities to improve patient outcomes.

Vibrant Healthcare Alliance Putting its $481,500 OTF Grant toWork in the Community
On Friday, local MPP Robin Martin and Blair Dimock with the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF), met with the team at Vibrant Healthcare Alliance to hear more about the impact that a three-year, $481,500 Grow grant has had since receiving it in the fall of 2018. The grant has enabled the organization to implement its Adaptive Sports Program that focuses on providing boccia and stretching activities for people with physical disabilities.
